She then shocked me even more when we brought home two.
We now have Frankie (whom I call Jack), who is a short haired silver tabby with emphasis on silver. He's so beautiful, and is hilarious to watch. We also have a somewhat long hair kitten named Ysabeau who looks like she might be a... blue Russian? Russian blue? Something like that, mixed with something else. She also is absolutely beautiful, and playful. She's a bitch to Jack though. They're both about two months old.
While I'm thrilled to have these kittens, it also brings home that fact that my cat, Cali, is gone. It hurts a lot. Before it was just like she was hiding, and would come out anytime. I've been crying a lot since we brought the kittens home.
Here's hoping that things work out with these kiddos, and that I learn how to deal with this loss.

I'm about to strangle a puppy.
And I LOVE puppies.
